Advance Cairns is proud to host Craig Doyle, CEO of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF), for an exclusive briefing focusing on key landmark investments driving transformational growth across our region. This event comes at a pivotal moment, with an independent review of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility Act 2016 currently under consideration.
Craig will also discuss NAIF’s recent investments in Cairns, including:
• Up to $155 million – North Queensland Airports Upgrade Project: Upgrading Cairns and Mackay Airports., strengthening our region’s aviation gateway and economic connectivity.
• Up to $140 million – Cairns Seniors Community Housing Project: A catalytic investment in affordable and social housing in Woree to help tackle the region’s housing crisis.

Craig Doyle Executive CEO, Northern Australia Infrastructure FacilityAcross multiple industries in northern Australia, Craig Doyle has extensive executive, operational, and project funding experience. He served as CEO of Gladstone Ports Corporation between 2013 and 2016 and as Executive General Manager of Australia’s largest sugar producer, Wilmar. Craig was also the Global Technical Head for Wilmar’s international sugar operations. Former CEO of Mackay Regional Council for nearly five years, Craig understands the needs of regional communities and key infrastructure requirements. Based in Cairns, Craig commenced in the role in June 2022.Find out more >> |
