Cairns needs a strong advocacy group. We elected to throw our support behind Advance Cairns because they are across the regional issues, they maintain important stakeholder relationships and they get the importance of a healthy diversified regional economy. Ultimately it needs to be about marked change and the Cairns Marine Precinct is just one of many examples where we have achieved that with Advance Cairns.
